ADA transforms manufacturing capabilities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

Many businesses like ours are now working with the Victorian Government to produce face masks for community use. The Government ordered face masks would be made by ECA-accredited businesses: ADA (Australian Defence Apparel), Aquaterro, Bluegum, Nobody Denim, Style Print and The Ark/THREAD Group Australia.

“The ability of Victorian manufacturers to adapt and produce the goods that we need in a pandemic has been remarkable. These companies are at the forefront of those efforts.” - Martin Pakula, Minister for Industry Support and Recovery said.

ADA (Australian Defence Apparel) will be producing over 200,000 local and ethical face masks as part of the 1.2 Million masks ordered by The Victorian Government to drive down COVID-19 numbers. The masks will be produced by our manufacturing facility in Bendigo, Victoria and distributed to our frontline workers and vulnerable communities across Victoria.

It is important now more than ever that we support our locally made, ethically accredited business network and the talented garment workers behind the scenes.

“This order will ensure people who need them most have access to a mask to keep them and their loved ones safe.” - Premier Daniel Andrews.
